WHAT IS INFOPATH?

Microsoft® InfoPath® is an online forms-creation and data-gathering tool that organizations can use to streamline business processes. InfoPath is designed for both advanced business users and IT pros and developers, depending on the type of forms-based solution a user or organization wants to create. Users of all levels, however, can fill out forms.

  • InfoPath 2013 is the last version to be released by Microsoft. It works with SharePoint Server 2016 and SharePoint Online.
  • Microsoft will support the InfoPath 2013 desktop client and InfoPath Forms Services for SharePoint Server 2013 through April 2023 as part of their Lifecycle support policy.
  • InfoPath Forms Services in Office 365 will be supported until further notice.
  • Many InfoPath users can use Microsoft Power Apps to building and use custom business apps that connect to your data and work across the web and mobile.

CLASS FORMAT This is a hands-on class - it is delivered as a running lab. This is not a series of PowerPoint slides presented by the instructor.
WHO SHOULD ATTEND This class is targeted toward non-technical form designers who work with SharePoint. You wiil learn to design powerful, sophisticated online forms without programming.
